The front and rear teaser images of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift has been revealed ahead of its global debut at the 2021 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).As seen from the teaser images, one of the key highlights of the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift is the new design language, Hyundai's Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy, similar to the new-gen Hyundai Tucson. You get a completely revised front grille with a parametric jewel pattern that integrates seamlessly into LED DRLs on both sides. The car also gets new C-shaped rectangular headlamps, a redesigned front bumper, a new fog lamp assembly and a silver-coloured faux skid plate. The side profile more or less looks the same. The taillight assembly looks similar to the current Creta but the tailgate design has been updated. In terms of other styling highlights, the new Creta packs in a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, black claddings on wheel arches and door sills, and new alloy wheel designs. The India-spec facelifted Creta should continue with its current range of engines - a 1.5-litre petrol with 115PS/144Nm, a 1.5-litre diesel with 115PS/250Nm and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with 140 PS/242 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual as standard on both engines with the option of a CVT and a 6-speed torque converter as options on petrol and diesel units respectively.Hyundai Creta has been among the highest-selling SUVs in the Nepalese market. Although the second-gen Hyundai Creta is still relatively new in the Nepalese market, the SUV is set for an extensive mid-cycle update in the international market. In the Nepalese market, the current-gen Hyundai Creta is available in a total of 10 variants, in both petrol and diesel powertrain.Scroll below for the latest pricing of Hyundai cars in Nepal[table id=11 /]
